Perhaps you can use a Project for this?
Something strange has happened. When I try to connect I get a small non-descript dialog pop-up and cannot connect to any instances. I'm not sure if this is related to trying to use projects. This is the first time I've attempted to use projects. I have gone as far as removing pl/sql developer and reinstalling.
O.K. Please disregard the last post. That problem was related to the default Oracle home that somehow was changed and not related to projects.
However, in the context of enhancements to projects could there be mechanism that would open all items currently displayed in the "project items" window in the same order and corresponding editing window?

The global "Autosave Desktop" preference does this in a limited way, but of course not across multiple projects. I have added this to the list of enhancement requests.
