Enhancement request - separate target schema for Compare tools

Currently the Compare User Objects tool is no use to me in our production system because it requires me to connect as the schema owner, and as a developer I can't do that - we have separate read-only users with SELECT privileges etc. It would be nice if I could connect as one user but specify a different one for the comparison.

This also goes for Compare Table Data. However I notice Export User Objects already has a "USER" dropdown.

Both the "Compare User Objects" and "Compare Table Data" tool have a "Target Schema" selection list. Only for the source schema you need to be connected as the owner.

When I have to compare USER's OBJECTS as a DBA, sometimes I don't have the password to connect as owner to the source schema. Why is that neccessary?

It would be great if a DBA could choose both schemas from a selection list, just like it is allready possible for the Target Schema.

Regards
Andreas

We'll probably have something for this for both the Compare User Objects tool and the Compare Table Data tool.
