Enhancement Request: Key configuration

Hi!

I would like to add a way to change the behaviour of a double click in the key configuration.
For example when duoble click it would open Edit Data. This is only possible using key configuration and assign a key combination.
But it would be nice if it also applied to double click, alternative CTRL+double click.

Do you mean a double-click in an editor (which would typically select a word)? If you mean a double-click in the object browser, then this can already be configured through the browser preferences.
