I use different PL/Sql Developer shortcuts for different DB instances, using the desktop parameter to keep my working windows for the different instances. An absolutely fabulous feature.
However, if I have to force shut-down PLD for, say, the TST instance, using taskmanager, and next decide to log on to de DEV instance, file recovery will load the TST windows.
It would be nice, if the file recovery utility is linked to the desktop parameter in some way, so that, in the above case, starting up the DEV shortcut would not result in the file recovery dialog, but starting the TST shortcut would, effectively recovering the opened windows on a DB instance/connection base.
