The following would add great value when you are seeking dependencies of an object, example:
under the View branch, expand an existing view
expand the References branch, this lists the objects this item references.
The enhancement would see the next level improved as such; expanding the tables or view listed under References will reveal another branch called Fields Used; which when expanded reveals the actual fields that are used.
This information is available just by looking at the view, but the enhancement would provide a more efficient way for the developer to seek true dependencies of an object.
This may apply to packages, procedures, functions etc that reference tables or views.
