I would like a option to require an audible and/or visual reminder that the action I just attempted is not valid at this time.
For example, I just came in, sat down, unlocked my PC, typed in a query and hit F8. The screen didn't change, hit F8 again thinking I'd had previously hit the wrong key. Still nothing. Then looked to see the Execute toolbar button disabled and the window title showed not connected.
For me, this is a minor tweak that I'd use daily.
