Empty result-set cell editor when double-clicking

When I 1st focus on a cell, and either double-click, or click the ellipsis, I get the expected text in the cell editor.
If I just double-click directly, I get an empty editor.

I have the same issue on Ubuntu 23.10.

Btw, when I single-click in result-set cell so that it is selected, and ctrl-c, I don't get anything.
I have to click again to get inline cell editor, mark the text and then ctrl-c
