Editor fonts not showing as selected

Hi,

I like using Inconsolata and Monofur fonts on my text editors.

When I select either of these fonts in PLSD, I don't get quite what I ask for e.g. Inconsolata always becomes a bold font, Monofur always an italic one.

Not sure if it's related, but I had to select the non-Unicode option to see these fonts.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure what could cause this. Do standard fonts like Courier New and Arial work correctly? Do the Inconsolata and Monofur fonts work correctly in other applications?

Both fonts show correctly in GVIM.

For Inconsolata: I choose the font and 'regular'; it displays as regular in the selection box; it becomes bold when I 'OK' the selection. The font is then displayed as bold in the example text and returning to the selection shows bold highlighted for the font. In the editor, 'standard' text appears as bold but highlighted text isn't. Interestingly(?), if I turn off 'Syntax Highlighting', then Inconsolata no longer shows as bold for the standard text.

Nothing seems to stop Monofur being in italic...

Other fonts seem OK, although I generally use Deja Vu Sans.
