Drag into custom directory (custom "folder")

Folks,
I've created custom directory "Recent packages" under "Recent objects" and was trying to drag a package into it and it didn't work.
question: did I do something wrong or it happenned because I am using trial version(6.0.3)?
I know that objects can be placed under custom directory using right mouse click and "Add to folder", but I was trying to organize "Recent objects".
Also, I noticed that "Add to folder" see only top level directories (yea, BTW, maybe it's too conservative, but I prefer directories vs. "FOLDERS").
Is it normal behavior, that not top level directory is not visible to this option?
Also,
How can I customize that instead all stuff goes by
default to "Recent Object" it will go into predefined places?

ps.
Sorry for 3 questions "under the one roof"

Drag & drop is not supported. If you want to sort the objects within a specific folder, go to Tools > Browser Folders.

Only user-defined folders are visible under the "Add to Folder" menu item.

You cannot customize this.
