Double Click Speed

We just upgraded to 8.0.0.1480 of pl/sql developer. I have changed the double click action on most of the objects.
I am only able to get this new action to take effect if I double click at a ridiculously fast pace. I have changed the double click pace at the mouse level in control panel but this does not seem to have any effect in pl/sql developer. Is there something I can change within the preferences to slow down the double click?

Can you update to 8.0.1 and try again? This may be fixed.
