Double-click behaviour changed?

Is it me or did the double-click behaviour change in version 7.1.2.1362? I'm pretty sure that in previous versions, double-clicking would consider a period as a delimeter i.e. double-clicking "table" in "table.column" used to highlight just "table". Now it highlights the entire "table.column".
I don't see an option to change this either.

Very similar behavior:
CTRL+arrow skips entire "table.column".
In 7.1.1 it skips to "."

Please Please! Could you restore the 7.1.1 behaviour for double-click.

highlighting

I have to admit this change has decreased my productivity.
Perhaps this could be a user preference? Being able to double click to get a package/table/column name made development much easier.

The syntax-highligting for table.column is also changed. In 7.1.1 was the table-name highighted, now not.

Any chance to get a patch for this? It doesn't matter to me if there's a preference for it or not. I'd just like to have the previous functionality back because my aggravation is going up at the same time my productivity is going down.

Yes, there will be a patch for the double-click/dot behavior soon. Probably today.
