DOA and 10G client

When I try to connect to a 10G database using DOA and the 10G SQL*Net Client I get the following error:

Initialization Error
SQL *Net not properly installed

OracleHomeKey: SOFTWARE\ORACLE
OracleHomeDir:
================================
When connecting to the same 10G database from a different machine (with a 9i Client) works perfectly.

Any idea how to solve this? I have checked the forum for related messages, but the solutions given there did not help.

I have installed DOA 4.0.4.0
