I use TwwDBGrid to display a dynamic DataSet based on different queries. Our customer has two kinds of date, one is Date, the other is DateTime. For the DateTime one, the display format should be 'm/dd/yyyy hh:nn'. It seems Oracle's Date could not differentiate between them? Because I used ftDate and ftDateTime as condition, Delphi always thought both are ftDateTime. the consequence is the DateTime showed up correctly, but the Date one gave me 'm/dd/yyyy 00:00'.
Later, SetControlType is used for a TwwDBDateTimePicker. This time Date works, not DateTime. For DateTime, it works only when the date field for a row got focused, the rest showed up with 'm/dd/yyyy hh:mi:ss AM'.
Is there anyway to get around? Thanks!
