Hello again, Marco,
This will baffle your team ... unless I've overlooked something embarrassingly simple that is.
Today, from time to time, when I've returned to a SQL Window, and pressed F5 to Describe the table named under the cursor, it's not worked, and the Describe window has failed to appear.
When this happens, I right-click the table name, causing the full-length ("this object exists") menu to appear, only without F5 listed against Describe -- only the assignments of F1 to 'HTML Manuals', and Ctrl+V to 'Paste' are shown. All of the usual right-click options are shown -- they just don't have keys assigned.
In the Preferences' window's Key Configuration panel, I can see F5 listed against Describe. When I "reconfirm" it, by assigning another key, and then changing it back again to F5, the key assignment works correctly again.
Since the mouse keeps running away, I'd very much appreciate a fix that stops the keyboard short cuts from doing the same.
Sorry, but I've no idea yet what triggers this misbehaviour -- I'll post again as soon as I can cause it to recur on demand.
Kind Regards, Mark.
