Perform two queries at once (new functionality).
Select first tab. Now highlight second query. The first query is still background "highlighted" as the "current query" when it's not.

I'm not sure I understand. The query text belonging to the current result tab page is highlighted, regardless of the cursor position or selection of the editor.
