Describe table - table comment fills the screen(!) - resize or hide it to see columns?

A colleague has a tendency to put very long comments on their tables and views, so long in fact that in the "Describe" dialog, the comment takes up the entire screen and the column list underneath is below the bottom edge of the screen.

There are workarounds: I can use "View" table, but it's not so convenient; I should maybe talk to my colleague.

Might there be a way to resize the comment box (even if it means truncating the text), or to fold it into a single line?

I tested this, and it seems that the comment column is limited to a maximum width of 500 pixels. Therefore there should not be any problem. Can you send me a screenshot of this event? And possible the DDL to add the comment that is causing problems?

Hello, thanks for the quick reply!
I think the tables were created with PowerDesigner. The DDL that adds the comment doesn't look special.

I received your example. If the table comment is long and has multiple lines, it will indeed obstruct the column list. We'll fix it.
