Delphi 2010 Help Files

I just installed DOA on a Delphi 2010 installation on Windows 7 and now the help files do not work at all. They are not integrated with the Delphi help AND the help file in the DOA directory will not open.

Is there an update to DOA that has working help files? My team is fairly new and so they rely on the help files quite a bit.

They are indeed not integrated, but you should be able to access the help file from the Oracle menu in the Delphi IDE, or directly from the file system.

What exactly goes wrong?

I didn't realize that there was a help item on the Oracle menu. That will be useful.

When I try to get to the help files, I get a message telling me that the format is not valid. Here is the message:

"The Help for this program was created in Windows Help format, which depends on a feature that isn't included in this version of Windows. However, you can download a program that will allow you to view Help created in the Windows Help format. "

I understand that we can install the old version of the Windows help, but was wonder if there are plans to have the help be in the new Windows format so we can get the context sensitive help working. . .

We will convert to the new help format in the next version, but at the moment you will need to download the Windows Help program for Windows Vista, or the Windows Help program for Windows 7.
