Delay with work with big packages

Hello,
does anybody worked with packages bigger than 3000 lines. PLSQL Dev behave it self like have big hiccup. Still waiting (serching / checking) something.
What can I do except divide pkg to smaller parts?

Do you have the Code Contents pane enabled? I so, does it help if you close the Code Contents?

I am having the same problem too. Even after closing the code content and the obj browser, it's still taking a while to compile. I don't think it's the machine as it is pretty new.

increase delay in code asistant or turn of code asistant

Wojtek,
Check in Preferences\Program Window if "Show Compiler Hints..." is off.
It could cause a delay.

same to me!

But i think it's my old PC i'm working on
(PII 400 Mhz).

On newer PC's here, it is no problem.
