Debugger hanging in 9.0.0.1601

I've downloaded version 9 to test this product out. For some reason whenever I try to debug some code (Open procedure in the test window and select the debug cog wheel) It just hangs for several minutes before I terminate it.

Can you let me know your exact Oracle Server version?

What is happening is once one debug session is finished. The session stays connected and many times active. If I attempt to run another run in the same test window, it will hang. If I close the window and reopen a new test then it will allow me to debug. However if the pre-existing connection is active, then I first have to kill that session from the database side before it will continue.
