Hello.

How do i make TOracleDataset use the systems date settings ?

All dates are displayed as dd-MMM-yy (as set in Control Panel/Regional Settings) but when i enter a date (ie. 03-Jan-01) i get "03-Jan-01 is not a valid date and time"

If i enter a date as 03-01-01 it is accepted and changed to 03-Jan-01.

How can i get around this problem ?

I think this is a general TDateField issue, and I'm not sure if it can be fixed.
