Database disconnection v9.0.6

Using plsql developer 9.0.6 win7 , and Win XP

When selecting either Procedures, Functions, Packages > Edit or View from the navigator, I get
"ORA-03113 end of communcation channel" error message, the datbase connection is lost and the procedure/package/function is not displayed. I can view other objects such as sequences, triggers, can query tables. I have de-installed then re-installed plsql developer, but still getting the same problem.

Also, this is happening only when connecting to one Oracle DB, connecting to another one this is not happening.

I didn't see this particualar error reported elsewhere on the forum.

Have you checked the alert log on the server?

Using oracle db : 11.2.0.1.0

Only error message I can see in alerty log is :

ORA-03137: TTC protocol internal error : [12333] [4] [83] [72]

This disconnect is happening from one PC only so I am wondering what happened overnight that is causing this to happen now
