I also suggest to exclude SYS_PLSQL_* types from comparison, just as they are not shown in Browser tree.
I feel, that PLSDev could provide more support in dealing with pipelined functions, but the only place where I can see the traits of pipelined functions is "Compare User Objects", which seems to be least suitable one.
