I noticed that the behavior when restarting with crach recovery is different from opening a workset. While the workset opens its windows invisibly (in the background) and then visualizes them, during a crash recovery each window is rendered and displayed individually. This obviously requires considerably more time. Perhaps the workset method could also be used here.
Another note: While the windows are being built, the splash screen shows the information "Loading Plug-Ins...". After all windows have been restored, the message "Loading workset: " appears. What unsettles me is the fact that no workset was recovered at all. and the name shown is simply that of the last workset used.
