I have just upgraded to 8.0.1.1502 form v7____
Generally happy with the experience with one exception.... we do lots of ad-hoc report writing and make extensive use of the "Copy to Excel" function to get data from the dev'ers terminal into a format suitable for end users to manipulate as they desire. Being the average user they often come back with a further related request. Whilst using v7 this was no problem as the sql used to get the raw data was on the 2nd tab of the outputted Excel. However, since v8, we now only get the first line of the sql used - in our world that is "select fieldX", which is not a lot of use
Please fix this apparent bug as we are having to rewrite queries from scratch as most time we forget to manually cut/paste the sql to the 2nd tab having got so used to it working as desired in v7 !!
