Preferences -> User Interface -> Appearance -> Connection Indicator: match: user1@PROD_DB color: RED -> Set toolbar indicator -> Left aligned.
This does word, but NOT when this connection (user1@PROD_DB) will be used with projects:
Project Options -> Connect Parameter are set -> Connect when project is opened.
If you open a project the connect will establish, bot the toolbar isn't RED-colored.
