connect as field now showing in login dialog

Hi,
I am not able to connect as sysdba user because of connect as filed is disappeared from login screen.
re-installing the software didn't solve the problem,

This indicates that either:

1. No Oracle Client was detected.
2. The Oracle Client is older than 8.0.
3. The "Force OCI7 mode on OCI8" preference is enabled (Tools > Preferences > Oracle / Connection).

first of all thanks for your prompt response, also thanks to solve the issue.
i have oracle client installed, i can connect to users other then sysdba ,
however after disable the parameter (as mentioned in step 3), issue has been solved. once again many thanks.
