Compatibility version - with VCS

Dear Friends,

Does anyone of you know the compatibility of the PLSQL DEV version 7.1 with Microsoft VSS version 2005?

While adding a new object from PLSQLDEV through VCS plugin, we get a unspecified error. Any help is highly appreciated.
