comparesource.ini error

hi,
is there a way to disable writing in Program files. Our company prohibits any writing in it and therefore will not allow us to install compare tool and other plug ins that write ini files.

Do you have access to Delphi? I could send you the source and you can take that part out.

The reason for the .ini file are not pressing, it just stores the location of the window for the next use.

I just tried to recompile, but I haven't touched it in 3 years and now find that while I can compile it doesn't execute in 7.1.2 but I don't know why (Marco, does PL/SQL Dev still work with dll files created with Delphi 5).

If you have access to the Delphi compiler I can send the source, if not I can tell you that all it does is some setup for the ExamDiff that comes with PL/SQL Dev (save the current window to a temp file, find out what file on disk to compare it to, the user can specify what switched to use and then ExamDiff is invoked.
