Compare User Objects not respecting "Ignore white space" pref?

I just noticed that this wonderful Compare User Objects tool still shows my package bodies as different due to trailing spaces, even after I enable the "Ignore white space" preference option.

Is it just me?

I'm running 64-bit PSD v15.0.9.2050

Note that the Compare User Objects tool has its own settings on the "Options" tab page in the tool itself. This takes precedence over the preferences.
