Color of arrows and icons

With v15.0 with Themes set to "", custom background and text color affects the various browser panels, but not the ">" arrows nor some parts of the icons.

Note how the ">" arrows, folder icons, and "(F)" icons are practically invisible:

I can make them visible by applying a dark theme, but I want to keep the standard gray theme for the application.

Icons are visible when a dark theme is applied:

Is there a way I can keep my "" theme, custom background and still be able to see these icons?
(Preferably the application would use the specified text color, or pick a foreground color based on an algorithm such as described here.)

If you do not use a theme, you will need to set the font colors and font background colors correspondingly. Go to Preferences > User Interface > Fonts to set these colors. You can quickly apply the default colors by clicking on the green indicator for each font.

Thank you, but that does not work. The selected font color does not affect the browser icons, as shown in this screenshot:

Can you please make it so the font color is also used for these icons?

You will need to change the background color of the Tree font. In the screenshot it is black, which does not combine well with the icon color. This is the "Bkg" color of the "Browser" font in the preferences.

I feel like I'm missing something here, so I'm sorry if I'm just repeating myself, but I *want* the dark background color, and I *want* the light text color. The problem is that the icons are the wrong color, and I can't change the icon color (other than by setting a dark theme, which changes more than I want to change). It would be great if the icons were drawn using the font color.

If you want the dark background, then you must select dark color mode in the Preferences > User Interface > Appearance, and select a style that is to your liking. Only when using dark color mode will the icons have a matching light color.
