Closing a tab prompts to save/keep

Of all the things that are higher priority, there's one niggle that keeps catching me out...

If I ctrl-click on a tab with unsaved changes, I get:
"Close Window discarding possible changes?" (Yes/No)

If I click on the 'x' to close the tab, I get:
"Save changes to [file name]?" (Yes/No/Cancel)

It would be nice if the message and options were consistent as I often expect the opposite. Normally I ctrl-click to close a tab I'm not interested in saving changes for and thus select "No". I'm then mildly flustered that the tab is still open!

I really don't want, however, to check the box to "do not ask this again" as I fear I'd accidentally save and discard something I wanted to keep.

If you would be so kind as to review and harmonize these dialogues, it would be very much appreciated.

Thank you,
Tim

Hi, Tim!

Ctrl-Click is a force-close command and the message you receive makes sense for that action, while clicking is a standard action which receives the standard dialog in response.
This behavior has been there for ages and I think it would be undesirable, if not awkward, to change it now.

Best regards,
Gustavo
