Clearing output tab wipes out SQL tab

Reproduceable exactly as stated. Clearing the output window tab also clears out code in the SQL tab.

It seems like the button in the Output tab is working as expected. However, when "Clear" is used from the context menu, it refers to the SQL tab.
Intuitively, I would have expected that the action from the context menu in the output tab would only clean up this one.
