"check online news..." not working?

Hello,

when checking in Help - Check Online News...
the latest entry is from Sep 2007!
In the News section of http://www.allroundautomations.com/plsqldev.html
the latest is from May 26, 2008.
Shouldn't those two be fed from the same source?
I have to use a proxy which seems correctly defined in preferences - proxy settings.
So is this just a bug?
