Check connection

When generating SQL output, I get a prompt when size reaches 100MB. While PLSD waits for an answer, Check connection won't work. And I sometimes have to restart generation after connection is dropped due to inactivity.

Could the "Check connection" funcion be enhanced so it keeps connection alive while waiting for the answer?

It's tricky. Normal application message handling is stopped during a message box.

What if you halt processing and display the message in the status bar, instead of showing the message box? Or maybe open a modal window, instead of a message box?
