Change Window to ...

Very good feature: you can change from any window-type to another.

For example:

I start a procedure at "Test Window". At the end I will't commit. I can't see my DML-changes from other session. I would like to change "Test Window" to "SQL Window" to make some selects in the same session.

BUT:

The "Test Window"-session logoffs and a new session in "SQL Window" is started.

Can I change a window without logoff-logon?

Maybe your Session Mode option is set to Multi Session. I think you should use Dual Session mode to get this working.

Set this on Tools / Preferences / Connection.

I think, it would be nice to have an option to chose shud it be in the same session or new, regardless of Session Mode option is set to Multi Session or Dual Session mode.

It does indeed start a new session. I have added this to the list of enhancement requests.
