Change program unit from Read Only to Edit

Hi

When I open a stored procedure or package via the CTRL+< mouse click> method, it seems to open things as Read Only. Is there an option I can set to make the new window an edit version, or toolbar option to switch from Read Only to Edit?

Hi,

at tools/preferences => user interface/objectbrowser => there are "double-click action" and "drag & drop action" to customize.

Thanks for the response, however this does not solve my issue, I was perhaps unclear, sorry. In a SQL window, if you hover over a package name while holding CTRL, it "hyperlinks" - however left (package spec) or right (package body) mouse click both then open in a new window as "File is Read Only".

I tried altering the options you mentioned, but regrettably this hasn't helped.

Any other ideas gratefully received.

use the Toggle Read-Only plugin from BAR Solutions, than you can rapidly switch per shortcut.
