Can't start up in "multiple-connection" mode when one conn is down

Hi, we have 9.0.6.1665. When "allow multiple connections" is ON and one of the connections in a previously-open window isn't accessible, the startup sequence freezes in the "loading desktop" step. It's ugly - I have to kill the windows session; can't even get in so I can disable the "multiple connections" setting. wouldn't it be nice if the window in question opened as "not logged on"?

We'll try to enhance this. I assume the database in question is not accessible, and that attempting to make a connection causes a long delay?

correct. It just sits at the "loading desktop" step indefinitely
