Can't Debug Delphi5 anymore after inst PI procesbook

After Installing Pi Procesbook which brings MDAC 2.5 an VBA6 to my system I can't debug the DOA session component anymore.
This means if I try to connect to an Oracle db in designtime using the doa session component the application crashes with the external exception c000008.

My question : Is this a known problem ?

Thanks, upgrading the sql version solved my problem.
