Cannot view CLOB using version 3.0.0.311

Hi

Every time I attempt (so have some of the developers)to view a row that has attribute type of CLOB I get the following error:
"A query with LOB's requires OCI8 mode."
We have tried many different ways around but the only way I got it to work was download you latest trail version of PL/SQL and that worked.

We are using an Oracle 8 client talking to an oracle 9 box. Is there a patch for this???

I'm not aware of any problems. You could try 3.0.5 though, or you could simply upgrade to 5.1.

It can also be that the preference "Use OCI7 on OCI8" is enabled. Can you check this?
