It seems to not be possible to cancel a query/report until it is acually returning rows back to the screen. This can be a long time for some complicated reports.
I have noticed, though, that I can cancel a running report by clicking on the layout tab, then clicking the refresh fieldlist button. The result is an error and the query/report crashes. Which is very useful at times. I can't see that this leaves any 'craters' in the database or system but then I haven't advertised it much either
Is it possible to provide a feature that cancels the report/query 'right now!' as opposed to waiting until rows are returned?
