Bug: starting PLSD

Can you try to add a tool window (e.g. the window list or template list) to the Browser docking pane and try again?

with the window list docked to the browser pane the browser opens at the same size as it was when i shut PLSD down.

but I like my window list to float and my template window hidden.

I'm looking forward to this fix too. Minor annoyance, but still annoying. Personally I was happy with the functionality in V6, but that's just me! :-)

I haven't figured out yet how to have the key that toggles the Browser display act as a "parent" for the Window child window, as it did in V6. Is this possible still, or has progress passed me by? :)

Until the option is created, this is how I solved it.

I have a small macro to close the browser window, windows list and template window. I assigned the macro to a hot-key that I can easily remember like CTL+ALT+F12+Q (Just kidding on that last part - I saw it on Dilbert once and thought it was funny!)

Anyway, it works for me OK

Mike,

Thanks for the tip that macros can work on things besides editing. I didn't realize that was possible.

Pretty funny on the easy-to-remember hotkey. I've got SO many similar hotkeys in my brain already between PL/SQL Developer and ClipMate it's ridiculous!

BTW, check out ClipMate - it's a great clipboard manager on steroids.
