Bug report: View User

I just installed 10g and wanted to recreate my userids from the 9i instance.

So I used PLSD and logged onto my 9i system, opened the User node in the Object Browser, right clicked on a userid and selected View: then I clicked on the View SQL button.

Session Log off and Session Log on to my 10g DB.

The problem came when I right clicked in the View SQL window with the 9i user create statements and selected the Change Window to SQL - the contents disappeared!

This is indeed a bug. The "Change Window to ..." menu item should not even appear for the User Definition Editor.

To work with the SQL, press the "Open in Command Window" button instead.
