Bug Report: Test Window

I don't know what is causing it, but all day (and no, I am not exagreating when I say ALL) I have had my test window hang up when I click the Break button. The button goes gray, and so do all the Run/Step buttons, and then they all come back enabled. It doesn't matter how many times I click it. And so I have to kill PLSD and start anew (setting up break points, any code changes not saved before the problem, remember my train of thought).

The test window is doing some updates, deletes, runs one package to make some data for the second package, which I am stepping through.

ugh

If this is a problem that is suddenly and conistently occurring today, then maybe it's related to the database state. Can you shut it down and restart it?

No, I can't, but I have another idea about it though.

This week the LAN folks changed a setting, packet size or something like that, and we couldn't do anything for 8 hours while we beat on them to change it back. They did, but a day or so later they experimented before we came in and came up with another size, though it was smaller than our original.

I am wondering if there is some large packet that is being xferred that is failing because of the LAN setting and Oracle/PLSD isn't handling it.

Speaking of which, is it technically possible to change the behaviour of the Break, and window/program close, so that if I say Yes to the question "hey, do you really want to quit even though something is still running" it will Break/Close???????
