Bug or feature: cleared status messages is restored again when window changes

I have a program window (package body) with some hints in the message window. To make more room on my screen, I right-click in the message window and select "Clear" and the window is cleared. This is OK.

When I change to the package header and back to the body again, the message window is restored and I have to clear it again. This is not OK.

It is possible to make PLD remember the 'clear' status of the message window? If I change to another program window, the window status of the current window does not change, only if I activate a tab page inside the current program window.
