The new Program window functionality that checks for changes in database object and offers the user to e.g. reload or view differences, has some bugs.
If a change in a database object occurs, then the user is alerted when for instance navigating to another window. This is OK.
But when the user is editing e.g. a package spec. and body, he will not get any warnings, even if he switches tab pages or changes focus to another program and the back to PLD (e.g. with Alt-Tab), still with the current program window in focus.
Only when he navigates to another window in the PLD window list or similar, he is notified.
Otherwise he will only get notified after the number of seconds entered in the Program window preferences. On systems with slow database feedback time, this could be set to e.g. 5 minutes, so the user is not notified until then.
He can even compile without getting a warning (!) if he only has focus on the current program window.
Please correct this.
