Bug: Floating Window list and alt-tab

I have never seen this before, but today when I did alt-tab to go to another pgm window my floating Window list window went to the background and wouldn't come back (I stopped and started PLSD a couple of times and it still does it). I finally docked the window.

I can't reproduce this. Are you using the standard Windows Alt-Tab or have you installed some custom Alt-Tab tweak utility?

Got another problem with floating windows:

i had f.e. a Desc of a Table and a Program window.
If i now compile the package and swith to an other window (with ALT+Tab) the floating window didn't go away.
Even when i click and work in the other window...

There is surly a case where this is nice, but in main i think it's not a feature, isn't it?

I tried this again today. The first few times it worked as expected (the floating window did NOT disappear, the focus actually changed to another program). But then it started to force the floating window list behind the PLSD main window again. I shutdown the PC and booted it, thinking maybe having done that over the weekend had reset something, but the alt-tab hid the floating window list right away.

Well, I still can't reproduce this. It is correct that description windows stay on top of document windows, but they should not stay on top of other application windows.

Hm,

i think it happens with big packages or something which takes a much cpu in PL/SQL Dev.

if i had the problem, i can "use" this description windows. But then sometimes the focus switch back to PL/SQL Dev.

I figured out how to recreate my problem at will.

When PLSD is the only app on the task bar, and I do an alt-tab, the floating window list disappears.

The only way to get it back is to 1) unfloat it (and lots of times I then have to turn on the browser window), or 2) shutdown PLSD and restart it. Neither of which is 'fun'.
