Browser folder broken

Recently I created another browser folder, which had been working well. Today I stuffed a couple more items into it and now my [BrowserFolders] section in user.prefs file looks as this:

However, upon attempting to open "Admin objects" folder the PLSDev "hangs" for several minutes, and in the end such a huge senseless list is revealed:

(there are hundreds if not thousands of items in total, I guess)

What could go wrong?
I still can expand other browser folders, that works as it should.

The "order by clause" has a value, so the folder is also query-based. Clear the "order by clause" to restrict the folder to just the explicitly added objects.

Oh my bad, I am forgetting about such nuances anytime.

Still I would like to have the option to sort the "selected by me"
items. It would be handy in case of larger object lists.
