BLOB Viewer non-modal - Pl/SQL Developer 8.0

Is there any way to set the blob viewer as non-modal and/or dataset scrollable?
Basically I want to be able to view an image in the BLOB viewer and also view/navigate tables containing data extracted (OCR) from that image.

It would be an added bonus if I could scroll through the images table from within the BLOB viewer.

Right now, as far as I can tell, once the image(BLOB) viewer is instantiated it is application modal.

This is currently not possible. I have added this to the list of enhancement requests though.
