Background gradient

Hardly worth a post, but since I see it for some versions I cast it in the group:

Since I'm over on Windows XP the background gradient does not work. I have it on black to darkblue, vertical and enabled (ofcourse) but the background stays on boring grey.

On Win2k it worked fine. Is it a XP-imposibility or a minor PSD-bug?

It works fine for me, but:

1. The gradient must be "enabled" (you already mentioned this).
2. The "default colors" option must be disabled.
3. Even then it can still be overruled by a connection indicator, if it includes the "Set application background color" option.
