Annoying .~sql file

Hi, I need some help on this.

The version of my PL/SQL Developer is 6.0.6.946 01.21400. Each time I create a *.sql script. PL/SQL Developer creates another *.~sql script with the same file name. It doesn't disapper after I close the script (like Microsoft Office files do). I have to manually delete it!

How to prevent this?

Thanks

Cool! thanks a lot.

One more annoying thing is each time I open PLSQL Developer, the default object list is "All objects", which is pain in the heck slow, I tried to change it by clicking "Filter..." button above and change it to "My objects", but it doesn't work at all, next time I login, it still use "All objects"

When you go into the "Filter..." icon, check the default box of the one you want ("My Objects"). Click OK. Next time, it should remember.
